Prosthesis

If you lose a tooth, you can use prosthetics as a cheaper and simpler alternative to implants. There are 2 types of prostheses:

Fixed prostheses: They are designed not to be removed from the mouth. They are those bridges or crowns that are cemented to adjacent healthy teeth, so that their comfort and functionality are guaranteed.

Removable prostheses: They can be removed and put on by the patient themselves to clean the teeth and the prosthesis. They can be partial, when they only include some teeth, or total. In this case, the prosthesis would cover a complete arch of the mouth. These prostheses are anchored to the teeth without causing any damage to them.

Prosthetics on implants: They are fixed, cemented or screwed to the implants.
